Secondary teachers kick off rolling strikes

School was out for Year 9 students today as secondary teachers began the first of a series of rolling strikes. The industrial action comes just days before scheduled talks between the teachers union and the Education Minister -- which aim to find break a deadlock over pay and conditions.
