Auckland Council declares climate emergency

Auckland Council has become the latest to declare a climate emergency - joining Nelson, Canterbury and dozens of other cities around the world. Mayor Phil Goff says failing to acknowledge climate change would be irresponsible and reckless, but the young people who pushed for the declaration warn they want to see more than words.
