"An absolute tragedy." That's how police have described a bus crash that's killed five Chinese nationals north of Rotorua.
The police say 27 people were on board the bus when the accident happened on State Highway 5 shortly before 11am.
In addition to the five people who have died, two are seriously injured, and four have moderate injuries.
