The stepfather of a University of Canterbury student who was dead for weeks before he was found in his halls of residence says the accommodation provider sent him an overdue bill while his son's body likely lay undiscovered in his room.
Nineteen-year-old Mason Pendrous, who was in his first year studying e-commerce was found dead on September 23.
Anthony Holland raised Mason from age 4, with his mother who died of breast cancer in 2014.
