Checkpoint: The Best of 2019

2019 has been a massive year, we've seen the worse terrorist attack in New Zealand's history, the re-entry of Pike River mine, and more recently, the Whakaari Island disaster. Checkpoint has brought you the stories of those who've lost everthing, and the people who have given everything to make our country a better place. We're now going to look back at some of Checkpoint's biggest stories this year. We start with Lisa Owen planting trees in Kinleith, close to Tokoroa.
