Iwi health services on major mission to test more Māori

Māori communities in isolated areas are turning up in droves to be tested for Covid-19.

New mobile testing units are being deployed to rural areas and to whānau homes, and clinics are being set up at places such as marae and freezing works.

It's all part of a plan to make sure the virus is not hiding in pockets of our communities.

RNZ Māori news correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan reports.
