There's been a thawing of the relationship between New Zealand Rugby and the Players Association with a meeting in Wellington today.
On the agenda was an alternative to the proposed $387 million Silverlake deal.
The two groups have been a loggerheads over the proposal for the US private equity firm to buy a 12.5 percent stake in a company which will control NZR's commercial rights.
The Players Association has proposed another option - a five percent public share float.
