A man with Covid-19 has suddenly died while isolating at home - the third such incident in the past week.

The man - who was in his 60s - had been staying at a home in Glen Eden in west Auckland. The Health Ministry says the coroner will now investigate the death, and whether it was due to the virus.

The Ministry of Health has details on the vaccination status of those in hospital. See here.

It comes after two other deaths last week - a 40-year-old man isolating in Manukau and a man in his 50s in Mt Eden.

The Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield says self-isolating at home is generally working well.
