Thousands of people have queued for hours in Edinburgh for a chance to walk by the Queen's coffin as it lay at rest in St Giles Cathedral.
Overnight huge crowds poured into the street to watch the Queen's procession make its way up the Royal Mile - with her children walking slowly behind the hearse.
