Auckland Council is no closer to deciding on its Budget, after a full day of debate on what parts to put out for public consultation.
The plan proposes rates rises, overhauling public transport to make it faster and more reliable, and creating a multi-billion dollar investment fund for the city.
Councillors spent the day picking apart the mayoral proposal, going section by section to question council staff on what mayor Wayne Brown has set out for the 10 year plan.
