Trees, bees and a nice cold cider, please

Jason Prior has hundreds of beehives in Manawatu and a nursery selling plants bees love. This year he'll plant 1000 cider apple trees with a view to planting thousands more and setting up a cidery. Each year he extracts up to 60 tonnes of honey of his own and between 150 and 300 tonnes for other beekeepers.
