Farmers need more than half a million dollars in flood relief

The government has unlocked half-a-million dollars to support farmers devastated by the Canterbury floods. Farmers have reported losing the feed they need to feed their stock over the winter, milk having to be thrown out due to collections being delayed, and huge amounts of damage to the infrastructure on their farms. Nathan Rarere discussed the impacts of the disaster with Infometrics economist Brad Olsen.
