Brad Olsen on unexpected contraction for economy of 0.2%

Stats NZ released data yesterday, that showed that The economy unexpectedly contracted at the start of the year .. as consumers controlled their spending, exports dipped, and primary industries produced less. Consequently the GDP fell a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent in the three months ended March, well below expectations. So what does this mean for everyday New Zealanders?
