Monkeypox declared global health emergency by WHO

The monkeypox outbreak has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organisation The classification, which is the highest alert that the WHO can issue, came after a surge in cases around the Planet More than 16-thousand cases of Monkeypox have now been reported from 75 countries, with five deaths. Just two cases have been detected in New Zealand so far. Joining Nathan Rarere is University of Otago epidemiologist Professsor Michael Baker.
