Dutch couple celebrate 65 years after 1958 Pahiatua wedding

On the other side of the world in the Netherlands, a Dutch couple is getting ready for their 65th wedding anniversary. But Cor and Miep Bierenbroodspot's marriage story begins all the way back in the small Manawatu town of Pahiatua, and the year 1958. Now, their son Michael is inviting the people of Pahiatua to send their wedding anniversary messages to the happy couple. Michael shared his movie-like story with Nathan Rarere, and he began by explaining how his parents ended up in Pahiatua of all places.
