Too hard basket: Some Aucklanders not using food scraps bin

It's been nearly nearly six months since the roll out of the green food waste bin was completed in Auckland. Food scraps in landfills make a lot of methane and CO2 which are harmful greenhouse gases. There are already food waste collections around the country and in Auckland, council charges an annual fee of $77.20 for the bin, even if you don't use it. Our producer Mahvash Ikram checked in with on the opinions of some Auckland residents who received their bin last year.
