A Coromandel environmental group has been ordered to pay almost $80-thousand to the Crown by the High Court.
Coromandel Watchdog of Hauraki sought a judicial review after a consent was granted to Oceana Gold to mine gold in conservation land.
In early September, its application was dismissed, and it has now been ordered to pay $79-thousand in costs to Crown Law and Oceana Gold.
