Govt rejects claims KiwiBuild won't meet target

The Government is rejecting an official estimate its Kiwibuild programme will lead to far fewer private homes being built. The Labour-led government plans to build 100,000 affordable houses over the next 10 years - half of them in Auckland. The Reserve Bank believes private housing construction could plummet as a result.
