The whistleblower for data mining company Cambridge Analytica has made some astonishing claims while giving evidence to a British parliamentary committee. Christopher Wylie says he helped develop an algorithm for the firm that harvested Facebook profile data from millions of people which was used to influence the 2016 US presidential election.
