Privacy fears over Auckland CCTV expansion

From Morning Report, 8:14 am on 12 August 2019

Privacy fears are being raised as Auckland Transport prepares to add hundreds of new cameras to city streets, highways and public places.

Within the next five years there will be more than 6000 cameras citywide. Andrew Chen is a research fellow at Auckland University's Centre for Science in Policy, Diplomacy and Society.
