History teachers hail decision to make subject compulsory in schools

New Zealand history will be taught in all schools from 2022 The Prime Minister made the announcement a short time ago, after unveiling a plaque at Parliament to commemorate the New Zealand Wars. Graeme Ball is the chair of the History Teachers Association which has been urging MPs to make the teaching of New Zealand history compulsory.
