Copies of Treaty of Waitangi ripped from council wall

Tauranga City Council is facing turmoil after copies of the Treaty of Waitangi were ripped from the council chambers wall. This follows Councillor Andrew Hollis posting on social media that the treaty was "a joke", and that there was a need to "stop the iwi gravy train". A tangata whenua representative Hayden Henry ripped the Treaty down in protest. We speak to local iwi leader Buddy Mikaere, a former director of the Waitangi Tribunal, who was at the council chambers.
