The bungees were bouncing, the bars and restaurants were buzzing and the No Vacancy signs were alight as New Zealanders flocked to tourist hot spots this Queens Birthday weekend.
But some business owners are crying out for a shift to Alert Level 1, after having to turn away much needed customers for social distancing requirements.
