It's been one scandal after the other for the National Party this week.
Nick Smith's shock resignation from Parliament came on Monday.
He said he was resigning in part because he had been told details of an inquiry into a verbal altercation at his Wellington office were leaked to the media.
While those details are still not yet released, there are accusations he was forced out by leader Judith Collins.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday an ex-girlfriend of former National Party candidate Jake Bezzant accused him of impersonating her online using naked pictures she had sent him during their relationship.
