Polynesian Panther's female members reflect on Dawn Raids

As the formal government apology for the Dawn Raids nears, women members of the Polynesian Panthers are reflecting on their part in the fight.

The social justice group was set up in 1971 to target racial inequalities carried out against Pacific people and Māori.

It became a central form of support for communities when police and immigration started targeting Pasifika living in New Zealand.

RNZ Pacific reporter Mariner Fagaiava-Muller spoke to the 'Sisterhood of the Raids'.
