National Party poised to unveil plan to open NZ's border

From Morning Report, 7:09 am on 29 September 2021

The National Party is poised to unveil its plan for reopening the border as pressure mounts on the Government to clarify what life looks like beyond the elimination strategy.

National MPs won't reveal any details about the party's scheme, but are already touting it as the most comprehensive and well-researched plan to date.

It comes just a day after the ACT Party released its own plan on reopening the border - both opposition parties agree Kiwis should be free to travel by Christmas.

RNZ political reporter Anneke Smith has the story.
