Michael Baker worried about lack of urgency for fourth Covid-19 shot

A leading epidemiologist says Aotearoa is leaving it late to roll out a second Covid-19 booster shot.

The government has passed legislation that allows New Zealanders to get a fourth dose of the vaccine.

It will be made available for those most at risk of getting very sick from the virus.

Otago University Professor Michael Baker is worried about an apparent lack of urgency.

He spoke to Corin Dann.
