Wellington businesses whose takings were crippled by the Parliamentary occupation earlier this year feared another slow day because of the protest yesterday.
In the end takings were down, but the biggest feeling was one of relief, after the Freedoms and Rights Coalition march ended by mid afternoon and the parliamentary lawn promptly emptied.
