Auckland Council will meet on Thursday to vote on the way forward for flood and slip-damaged homes that can be salvaged if work is done to future-proof them from natural hazards.
A report to council estimates 120 homes are likely to be eligible for the scheme, costing $20 to $30 million all up.
These are Category 2P homes, which need upgrades like retaining walls.
