A retired law professor says a conviction for Golriz Ghahraman could spell the end of her legal career.
The former Green MP pled guilty to four shoplifting charges in Auckland District Court yesterday.
Retired professor Bill Hodge expects her lawyer will seek a discharge without conviction to give the best chance of continuing her work as a human rights lawyer.
