New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters has signalled he won't compromise on the roll-out of his party's election commitments.
Peters told supporters yesterday during his state of the nation speech that the country's economy is facing a period of low growth, and a $5.6 billion fiscal hole is looming over the government's budget.
Despite that, he says the New Zealand First policies outlined in the coalition agreement would still be introduced.
Peters spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
