A New Zealand chef has been awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant in France - Le Petit Léon.
It is one of 52 restaurants in France to have received the distinction.
Nick Honeyman, alongside his wife, Sina, also co-own fine dining restaurant Paris Butter on Jervois Road in Auckland.
Honeyman spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
