Since 2002 Auckland born singer and songwriter Greg Johnson has lived in Los Angeles where he continues to write and record and maintain the motivation in his creative belief.  He is equally a proud dad.
Greg is a multi-instrumentalist fluent on piano, guitar and trumpet who, for many years, played around Auckland, both in the jazz band Bluespeak, as well as writing a solo repertoire of 12 studio albums that saw him win New Zealand's "Top Male Vocalist" Tui award in 1995 and the APRA Silver Scroll Award for his tune "Liberty" in 1997.

This weeks guest for for NZMM 2022 is Greg Johnson,  a song writer who’s catalogue of original compositions remain part of the fabric of NZ music … we called Greg in his adopted home of Los Angeles for the past 2 decades and talked about careers and creativity.
