Auckland floods News Special

A state of emergency is in place in Auckland after a huge storm hit the city last night. Two people are confirmed dead and two more people are missing after the heavy rain and flooding in the city. Emergency services have been overwhelmed and many roads across the region are impassable. The airport has been closed but will reopen after midday. People who have left their homes are being asked to stay away until it is safe to return. We'll be crossing to people across the city as well as the emergency management minister, auckland airport and Fire and Emergency.
