Stolen albatross eggs leave DoC staff devastated

From Nights, 10:17 pm on 14 November 2022

The Department of Conservation is at a loss as to why anyone would want to steal albatross eggs from a monitored Otago Peninsula reserve. The colony is the only mainland breeding colony of Northern Royal Albatross in the world. But their numbers will be fewer now that four of their eggs are missing.

DoC's operations manager of Coastal Otago Annie Wallace is with us.
