Why aren't more women taking up flyfishing?

From Nights, 9:10 pm on 15 November 2022

With flyfishing season upon us, one Wellington retiree is looking to get more women into the male-dominated sport.

Kapiti Coast resident Leigh Johnson says women’s lives can be stressful given the challenges associated with juggling work and family, and flyfishing is a wonderful way to decompress.

Leigh is running workshops to get a new cohort of women involved on their own angling journey.
