Clash over unhealthy food marketing

A group of academics is sticking to its criticism of the advertising regulator over unhealthy food marketed to children. Three top nutrition academics, led by Professor Boyd Swinburn conducted a study which found that around two thirds of ads marketed to children contained unhealthy food. But the Advertising Standards Agency – which has since changed its code – disputes the research findings. Kathryn Ryan talks with Professor Swinburn and Hilary Souter of the ASA.
