Hauraki Gulf residents fume at lockdown-flouting boaties

Hauraki Gulf island dwellers say lockdown-flouting boaties are putting them at risk.

There are a large number of people self isolating on their boats and then coming onshore on gulf islands including Great Barrier, Pakatoa and Rotoroa.

Maritime New Zealand has urged skippers of recreational vessels to stay home as the nation unites to beat the spread of Covid-19.
