They suck everything in and there's no light or time in the middle.

Our guest this morning is a woman who has dedicated her life to trying to find out exactly what they are, and tell people about it!
Dr Rebecca Smethurst is a British astrophysicist, author, and YouTuber who is currently working as a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford.
She's the author of Space: 10 Things You Should Know and Space at the Speed of Light: The History of 14 Billion Years for People Short on Time.
But she's known better to many as Dr Becky, on her staggeringly popular youtube channel where she does everything from meme dissection to deep analysis of new astrophysical research.
