Some types of obesity may increase dementia, stroke risk

Worldwide obesity has nearly tripled since 1975, with two in every five adults affected. But as harmful fat accumulation continues to impair our physical health, researchers at the University of South Australia are also warning that abnormal or excessive fat accumulation can increase the risk of dementia and stroke. Researcher Elina Hypponen explains.
