An Akaroa restaurant named after William "Bully" Hayes plans to change its name after a Pacific historian called for the name to be dropped, saying it was "a tribute to the most notorious of all the Pacific's slave traders".
The restaurant's owner, Wayne Jones, joins The Panel to a discuss the sudden public interest in the venue's name and why he has decided to go with a new name.
